SAMMARCO shines against Italian Derby winner at Rome 
It was supposed to be an easy task, but in the end SAMMARCO had to deal with the Italian Derby winner in the €50,600 Premio Carlo D'alessio at Rome today. The two colts then fought a fierce duel, from which the five-year-old Camelot son emerged victorious. Bauyrzhan Murzabayev was in the saddle of Peter Schiergen's protégé, who returned to the winners circle after a somewhat unfortunate four-year-old season and has lost none of his proven fighting spirit.
