PATH OF SOLDIER, trained for us by Peter Schiergen, celebrated his maiden win on his second career start in Düsseldorf today. The two-year-old SOLDIER HOLLOW colt had Bauyrzhan Murzabayev in the saddle for a gate-to-wire win by one and a quarter lengths clear over 1600 metres where he fulfilled all expectations.
PATH OF SOLDIER is one of our hopefuls for next year's classic season and has been nominated for the Champion2YO race Preis des Winterfavoriten. He was bred by Fährhof Stud Foundation and is a brother to this year's Derby winner Palladium.
