Once again in 2024, we would like to thank all our readers here for their loyalty with our traditional festive greetings. As fog and frost descend over the heathland, we bid farewell to a truly eventful year. The loss of our great SOLDIER HOLLOW in May not only weighed heavily on us emotionally, but was also regretted by all fans and lovers of the horse racing and thoroughbred breeding.
The fact that the three-time German champion sire not only lives on in our hearts, but also continues to ensure success through his offspring, who are known to be enormously talented and willing to perform, was demonstrated by the great TAMFANA, who became a Gr.1 winner in Great Britain in October, and the strong result at the BBAG Yearling Sale for our breeding operation, which carries the definite stamp of the In The Wings son. With the fresh Gr.3 winner SANTAGADA and the two promising colts QUINTO and PATH OF SOLDIER, we are looking forward to the classic 2025 season with hopeful SOLDIER HOLLOW progeny racing in our colours.
With this in mind, we would like to wish all our staff at the stud, trainers and their teams as well as all breeders and friends of Park Wiedingen Stud a Merry Christmas, a peaceful festive season and a good start to a healthy and happy 2025.
