| Mondello successful at sire’s favorite track |
| Four-year-old Soldier Hollow-son Mondello broke his maiden today. Like his sire, Mondello seems to take a special liking to the racetrack at Munich as he recorded a confident victory over 2,000 m for owners Gestüt Höny Hof. Jockey Eugen Frank had the mount for trainer Waldemar Hickst. Mondello is out of the Surumu-mare Mandrella and a full brother to Listed-winner Maningrey. | ||
