| Only an hour after Quidamo’s success in France yet another Wiedingen-bred was successful in similar style. Our home-bred Soldier Hollow-daughter Faiza recorded her first win in her new homeland of Norway. Entering the race as a 12:1 longshot, the four-year-old filly won the feature race of the card, the 110,000 NOK Norsk Rikstoto Cup (2,400 m) at Övrevoll racetrack by two lenghts for owner/trainer family Naustdal. We bred Faiza out of the Silver Hawk-mare Flamingo Sky, who is a sister to the German Diana-winner Flamingo Road, the dam of our group 2 winner and stallion Flamingo Fantasy. |
