| The right brother of 2013 Derby winner and stallion Pastorius broke his maiden at Munich racetrack today, and he did so in absolutely commanding style. Jockey Rafael Schistl took the two-year-old Soldier Hollow-colt from the gates to the head of the field, and that position was never threatened for even a moment. Entering the stretch, Schistl rode Parthenius with hands only and, after 1,400 meters, it looked as if the colt didn’t even hit the highest gear when he easily put two lengths between himself and the rest. |
