| Today, Soldier Hollow’s six-year-old Our Ivanhowe delivered an amazing performance in the highly regarded A$ 3,000,000 BMW Caulfield Cup, run over 2,400 meters. Breaking from a challenging outside gate, the colt galopped in prominent position under Ben Melham and fought hard for a third place in a field of 18, though there was no holding back the favorite Mongolian Khan. Our Ivanhowe was bred by the German stud Gestüt Schlenderhan as Ivanhowe out of the Sternkönig-mare Indigo Girl. Prior to moving down under, Our Ivanhowe won the group 1 Grosse Preis von Bayern and placed a great fourth in the 2014 Japan Cup. |
