Kalahari Soldier a trooper on dirt  
Today, Mario Hofer-trained Soldier Hollow-son Kalahari Soldier showed once more the heart a true fighter when he recorded a much deserved win in a 1,900 m Course E in Deauville, France. Coming off the pace, Frank Panicucci took the four-year-old grey to task early in the stretch, and the gelding responded with a great fight, nailing the second Hofer-horse, former group 3 winner The Danon by a nose at the wire.
