| Sensationel News: Soldier Hollow filly wins Diana Trial |
| What a day it’s been! First Dabbitse’s victory at Listed level and now this: the Stall Salzburg owned filly Ars Nova wins the Diana Trial, the most important prep race on the way to the “Preis der Diana”. Entering the stretch, jockey Andrea Atzeni found a passage for the filly and once clear, she developed significant speed to win the Group 2 race by 1 ½ lengths. Ars Nova was bred by the German stud farm Gestüt Karlshof out of the Surumu mare Asuma and is trained by Wolfgang Figge at Munich. | ||
