Old Pal claimed yet another Listed race and, thus, extended the remarkable success series for his sire, our very own Soldier Hollow. The four-year-old colt won the 112th running of the Härkila DET over 1800 meters at Klampenbourg racetrack, Denmark, for the Norwegian racing stable Stall Wiwal KB.
Two Soldier Hollow-sired winners can also be reported from the second day of the Derby meet at Hamburg racetrack: four-year-old colt, Adolphe Adam, proved too tough for his opponents in a level three allowance race over 1600 meters for owners Art4Horseracing and trainer Andreas Löwe; only one hour later, the much improved Koffi Angel came to a handy win in a level two allowance over 1800 meters, which marked the fourth victory for the four-year-old filly this year! Owned by the renowned German racing stable Rennstall Darboven, Koffi Angel won for trainer Hans-Jürgen Gröschel. German jockey Norman Richter was in the saddle.
