| What a performance! Up and gone was AXANA in today's €55,000 G3 Karin Baronin von Ullman-Schwarzgold-Rennen at Cologne racecourse. The three-year-old by our champion sire SOLDIER HOLLOW, who had already impressed in her Listed win last fall at Hanover, put her stamp on the race of this mile challenge from the get-go and drew away from the field with great ease to lock a gate-to-wire win by nearly three lengths into place. Jockey Eduardo Pedroza was aboard the SOLDIER HOLLOW for trainer Andreas Wöhler, who confirmed that AXANA was likely to take the route to the classic G1 German Oaks via the 1000 Guineas next month.
