Today, spectators at Magdeburg witnessed an impressive annual debut by Sofie Danielsson's FOUQUET in the second race on the card. Taken off the pace by Michael Cadeddu, the Gunter Richter-trained chestnut gelding easily drew clear by nearly three lengths at the 2050 m marker thanks to a fulminant speed attack in the final stretch. FOUQUET is the second winner for our Gestuet Trona-based stalliion FLAMINGO FANTASY (photo) following IRINA, who scored over 2400 m at Zweibruecken racecourse two weeks ago.
FLAMINGO FANTASY is out of the multiple G2-winning FLAMINGO ROAD out of the successful dam line around FABULA DANCER. In his active career, which he closed with a GAG of 98 kg, the Fantastic Light-son scored big in the G2 Hansa-Preis and finished a fantastic second in the G1 Deutschland-Preis.
