| WILD SOLDIER claims L2 handicap at Hanover |
| A brilliant finish by Maxim Pecheur and a great dose of fighting spirit made the foundation for the success of Gestuet Bruemmerhof's WILD SOLDIER in the top handicap of the Hanover card today. The Dominik Moser-trained five-year-old by SOLDIER HOLLOW was always prominent in the 1900 m level 2 handicap, yet when five horses met head-on in the final stretch, WILD SOLDIER looked beaten for a moment only to dig deep and turn the tables on the others by a short neck at the post with the last jump. |
