In the following delight, we take special delight: DEVASTAR is going to stud. The seven-year-old Wiedingen-bred colt will take up stud duty in 2020 at the French Haras du Mazet. Wearing our silks all his life, DEVASTAR entered the starting gates thirty-four times during his stellar career, scored eight wins and placed twelve times earning a total of nearly €250,000. His peak performances came at G3 level in the Preis der deutschen Einheit at Hoppegarten and in the Großer Preis von Hamburg.
DEVASTAR enters stud with a top GAG of 95,5 kg. He is by Areion out of the G3-winning Platini-mare DEVA (95,5 kg) who is a full sister to top-mare DIVYA, dam of seven time group winner and Horse of the Year DSCHINGIS SECRET. In his outstanding racing career, DEVASTAR impressed with toughness and consistency, but most of all he shone with an incredible fighting spirit - over and over again, which brought him the status of a horse of the heart not only amongst those close to him.
