| VIRGINIA JOY by our champion sire SOLDIER HOLLOW was the star of the evening before this year's Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe. The three-year-old Auenquelle filly, who was third in the G1 German Oaks and recently finished second in the T. von Zastrow-Stutenpreis at G2 level, became the top seller of the Arc Sale. The hammer fell at €975,000 in favour of Oceanic Bloodstock who acted on behalf of White Birch Farm. From what we hear, the SOLDIER HOLLOW filly will now move into the quarters of Jean-Claude Rouget in Pau, France. |
