CALICO strong G2 runner-up over flights

Following his impressive debut win in January, Fährhof bred CALICO continues to make a splash in the UK's hurdle scene. Today, the son of SOLDIER HOLLOW competed in the G2 Dovecote Novices Hurdle at Kempton and finished in a strong second place after 3200 metres. For a moment there in the final straight, it even looked like he land a full point but then the winner pulled away and CALICO and jockey Harry Skelton had to yield to runner-up.
