ES LA VIDA, by our champion sire SOLDIER HOLLOW, scored her first win of the year today in the €35,000 Prix Perruche Bleue, an allowance race for fillies over 1600 metres. The three-year-old, who had made a successful debut as a two-year-old last November, remained virtually untouched by her jockey Olivier Peslier and certainly raised expectations for this year's classics while cantering to an easy one-lenght win on Chantilly's soft turf.
ES LA VIDA is trained by Francis-Henri Graffard for Bernd Dietel. She is nominated for both the G1 Prix de Diane run in June and this year's G1 German Oaks to be held in August.
