Four SOLDIER HOLLOW progeny were consigned through the Arqana Summer Sale, which ended yesterday, and one of them made great headlines for our champion sire. Al Shahania bred three-year-old PARMENION achieved €230,000, the third highest price of the auction.
The full brother of G3 winner PELLIGRINA had made an excellent impression when winning his debut in mid-June and will now move into a stall with British champion trainer Willie Mullins. Mullins, who trained the two G1 winners by SOLDIER HOLLOW ARCTIC FIRE and SALDIER, was full of praise for our three-time champion sire and stated that PARMENION will be prepared for both the flat as well as the jumps.
