Soldier Hollow’s Maha Kumari took the € 52,000 BBAG Sales race at Cologne racetrack in promising style today! The bay filly showed great fighting spirit and held off the late attacks of the higher rated second-time starters Event Mozart and winner Dashing Home to break her maiden at her first career start. Martin Seidl, who celebrated his 101st victory with the filly, was in the saddle for trainer Markus Klug and owner/breeder Dr. Alexandra Margarete Renz. Maha Kumari is out of the Group-placed Muriel (IRE) by Fath and has such great racehorses as Irish Oaks winner Margarula and Group 1 horse Milleverof in her family.
