Yet another two-year-old filly by Soldier Hollow broke her maiden at her life debut yesterday when Stall Grafenberg’s Nymeria took a maiden race over 1400m at Mülheim racetrack for trainer Waldemar Hickst. Jockey Alexander Pietsch partnered the filly, who won easily by a length and recommended herself for greater tasks. Nymeria’s next start could come in the Group III Preis der Winterkönigin, Germany’s premier challenge for two-year-old fillies.
Nymeria was bred at our own stud out of our homebred champion two-year-old Narooma (Silver Hawk), who is also dam of Listed winners Narrow Hill and Namibia and herself winner of the Preis der Winterkönigin. We are excited to see whether Nymeria can follow in her mother’s footsteps! |
