Following four consecutive wins, two of them on Gr.3 parquet, ROSACEA entered the gates at Paris-Longchamp as the favorite for the €500,000 Gr.1 Poule d'Essai des Pouliches. Under Theo Bachelot, the SOLDIER HOLLOW daughter showed a very strong run but was very unfortunate when it counted most. The pair couldn't find a hole on the inside rails in the straight, and when there was finally some room, the filly fought gamely and missed third place by just by a hair's breath.
Despite the unfortunate course of the race, this was a great performance by ROSACEA, who confirmed that she counts among the top fillies of her crop in France - an great testament to the value of her sire, our three-time champion Sire SOLDIER HOLLOW.
