With today’s arrival of a colt foaled by Kanera, more than half of this year’s expected crop has arrived. Four more mares are due within the next few weeks. The first six foals are: a filly by Areion out of Pretty Smart born on February 13th; a colt by our star sire Solider Hollow out of Divya, delivered on February 17th; a colt (a ¾ brother to Prakasa) by Areion out of Pepples Beach, born on March 20th; a filly by Soldier Hollow out of Flamingo Sky, born on March 22nd; and another filly by Soldier Hollow out of Pretty Sue, born on March 26th – she is a half-sister to Precious Boy and to the colt Kanera delivered today.
We are very happy with the offspring so far and eagerly anticipate the remaining foals as both Wakytara and Quintessa carry foals by Soldier Hollow, while Mistic Lioness is to deliver a foal by Lord of England and Darshana carries a foal by the champion sire Areion. |
