Today, owners Michelle and Dan McDonald celebrated a fabulous third-place finish of their Soldier Hollow-son Silsol in the group 2 Rendlesham Hurdle at Haydock Park.
Bred at Gestüt Hof Isernreichen, the seven-year-old has won a whooping seven races over the fences since transferring to England, the last of which being a victory at Haydock Park. Silsol is out of the Groom Dancer-mare Silveria, a daughter of the Darshaan-mare Silvassa, who is also the dam of the two group-winning ladies Scatina (Samum) and Sevenna (Galileo). Silsol’s third dam is none other than Schlenderhan stud’s famous Diana-winner Slenderella.
