As a member of our great sire’s first crop, the ever consistent Funky Mary apparently has no plans for retirement yet, and thus proves Mark Richards of the Hong Kong Jockey Club’s post-BBAG statement regarding the toughness and stamina of Soldier Hollow progeny right. Today the France-based seven-year-old scored a €26,000 Course E over 3000 m with Ronan Thomas aboard. Although at home in middle-class handicaps, to this date the tough mare has recorded 7 wins and €161,260 prize money in her four-year racing career!
