The Areion-colt passed the wire after 2,000 m in today’s Gr.3 Baden Württemberg-Trophy two lengths behind the winner Palace Prince but way ahead of the rest of the pack. Entering the gate under top weight, the four-year-old ran a fantastic race with Adrie de Vries aboard and did really well on the churned up turf of Iffezheim racecourse. We are very happy with this second place, which rounded off a truly phenomenal weekend of our breeding operation. |
