| Following a series of placings, Mario Hofer-trained Sunshine Reggae recorded the first victory of her young career in the initial race of the last card of the season. The Soldier Hollow-filly proved a lot of heart with Koen Clijmans on board as she turned down the relentless late attack of the Woehler-trained Fons Salera to write herself into the winners’s list after 1,200 meters. Sunshine Reggae was bred by her trainer and owner out of the Big Shuffle-mare Sing Hallelujah, who is a sister to group winner Smooth Operator. |
