Soldier Hollow-filly DALLAS AFFAIR made no affair of her third victory of the year and the much demanded Black Type status she gained from it. Bred by Haus Ittlingen stud, the filly's win at La Teste today looked almost effortless.
Aurélien Lemaitre took the three-year-old to an uncontested win by 2 1/2 lengths in the Prix de Sorellina, a €55,000 Listed-challenge over 1600 m on good turf. Freddy Head had prepped the filly with a careful 2yo campaign for owner George Strawbridge, and with this victory in the books, Dallas Affair has most likely recommended herself for even better tasks to come! |
