| Stall Elektrowelt.de's Soldier Hollow-daugther SON MACIA ran a formidable race in the €80,000 G3 Prix de Flore at Chantilly today. Once more, the filly demonstrated that she's a force to reckon with at group level. Trainer Andreas Suborics has Son Macia wear blinkers now, which apparently helps the filly focus even better. Gregory Benoist had Son Macia settle up front from the start where she was slightly off the pace, and kicked into high gear entering the stretch. The team fought gamely but had to give the British filly Intimation a pass after 2100 m at the wire. Still a formidable performance once again by the ever consistent Soldier Hollo-daughter. |
