| REINE DE FLEUR much the best in Hamburg's C2 handicap |
| Gestüt Auenquelle's REINE DE FLEUR put her sire SOLDIER HOLLOW on record with a fine win in the second highest handicap on Hamburg's card one day prior to the German Derby. The Marcel Weiß-trained five-year-old ran a gutsy race in a class 2 handicap over 1200 metres with René Piechulek on board when she kicked away from the field with ease for an uncontested win by one and a quarter lengths. |
