Following two recent strong performances against even stronger opponents on group level, our Devastar recorded a nice victory at Listed-level in Dresden today. Adrie de Vries took the Areion-son on a trip four wide, which gave him room to develop his stride and an undisturbed trip. The extra ground did not hamper the colt, and he was right at the top of the game once the field hit the home stretch. After 1,900 meters, Devastar and de Vries were ahead by a length and announced confident winners.
After the race, trainer Markus Klug and Adrie de Vries had much praise for the four-year-old son of our great Deva. |
