| Racing in Horst Pudwill's dark blue silks, Wiedingen-bred FOSUN ran a formidable race at Hanover today and impressed with an excellent second-place finish against favored opponents. Maxim Pecheur gave the Soldier Hollow-filly an undisturbed trip in this €25,000 Listed challenge over 2200 m and took her away from the main field entering the deep stretch. While the pair could not keep up with the superior Faerhof winner Sarandia, Fosun once again impressed with her stayer quality and fighting spirit. This was the third runner-up result for the four-year-old trained by Markus Klug as well as the fourth Black Type performance overall. |
